Joensuu City Theater is managed by the North Karelian Theatre Association – the city and the state and the largest financial supporters of the association. The theatre has a staff of over 50 people and the performances take place on two stages at the City Hall (Rantakatu 20). During the season, there are performances almost every day – in Finnish. Tickets can be purchased online from Ticketmaster.
