After-school activities
After-school activities are organised for the 1st and 2nd class pupils mainly between 12–17 hours. City of Joensuu coordinates the activities, which are carried out besides the city also by many associations, parishes and alike organisations. The basic fee is 100€/month for a maximum of 20 hours a week and 120€/month if the attendance time exceeds 20 hours a week. It is possible to apply for a reduction, decision is based on family income criteria.
