Basic Information on the printmaking studio

Joensuu printmaking studio was founded in 1992 as a joint project by local graphic artists especially Asta Kuusinen ja Anu Torikka, the Center of Cultural Affairs and the  Hand and Art craftschool of North Karelia. The printmaking studio is maintained by the Culture Services of Joensuu.

Techniques available include are etching, stone litography and screenprinting. The printmaking studio is for professional graphic artists, amateurs who can use tools well and last year students of art schools. Courses in various graphic techniques can also be arranged there.

Location

The printmaking studio is located near the center of Joensuu and alongside the river Pielisjoki.

Basic rules

The organizer of the event takes responsibility for keeping the printmaking studio in order. The organizer as well as every other user of the printmaking studio is obliged to reimburse all damages wich accrue to real estate, fittings and instruments.
