Starting date of employment September 1st 2019 or as agreed
Basic salary based on collective labor agreement. There might also be some additions based on collective labor agreement.
Trial period six months
Set of works
- C. Stamitz: Concerto in D major, op.1, 1st movement with cadenza or F.A.Hoffmeister: Concerto in D major, 1st movement with cadenza
- M.Reger: 1st suite for viola solo op.131d, 1st movement Molto sostenuto
- 10 minutes long piece on applicants free choice
- Orchestral excerpts, which will be sent via e-mail after the closing date
Send the completed application form and a short CV that contains the most appropriate details of your education and qualifications, and professional work experience as a musician (max 2 pages, in .doc, .rtf or .pdf format) preferably by e-mail: email@example.com (We will answer in couple of days. Remember to say whether you wish to use our pianist. Use of own accompanist by your own expenses is also allowed. Also the piece of free choice needs to be informed in the application form. Applicant must deliver the piano score of the free choice piece to firstname.lastname@example.org latest 26th April.

Auditions will be by invitation only. Invitations will be sent to applicants after the closing date by e-mail.
Joensuu City Orchestra will not provide any compensation for travel, accommodation or any other expenses.
Joensuu City Orchestra – Finland The Joensuu City Orchestra with its 35 musicians is an energetic ensemble with a varied repertoire. Its home venue is the Carelia Hall. Artistic Director is Jurjen Hempel. From 1st September 2019 new artistic director is Eero Lehtimäki and artistic partners are Minna Pensola and Iiro Rantala.
