Items donated to Ukrainians have been collected in Taitamo on Jokikatu, which is operated by the employment services of the City of Joensuu. It is located near the train station. Items can be picked up with a Ukrainian passport. The donated items include children’s and adults’ clothing, shoes and children’s hobby equipment. It is also possible to receive household textiles, small items and furniture as a donation through Taitamo. 

Picking up items: Taitamo, Jokikatu 8, 2nd floor (entrance from the river side). 
Open on Mondays and Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. 

The items collected for Ukrainians come from a private charity collection. The City of Joensuu is not coordinating a separate collection for Ukrainians. You can help Ukrainians by, for example, making a donation to an organisation. More detailed instructions can be found on the websites of organisations.
