Are your neighbours, your company or your community interested in combating climate change? Are you eager to join others in trialling low-carbon solutions in your everyday life?

Joensuu's Climate Block project, which engages in concrete climate work together with residents, welcomes new participants. All those in Joensuu who are interested can join forces locally and apply for the status of a Climate Block. Instructions on how to apply will be published at www.joensuu.fi/ilmastokorttelit (in Finnish) and on social media by the end of January.

Climate Evening on 12 February

Representatives of organisations are invited to a Climate Evening on 12 February at 17:00 hours. The venue is the idyllic Kukkolan Tila in Vanha Valtatie 70, Joensuu. You will learn about experimental and inspiring climate interventions by various organisations and about tools for climate work and communication. Challenges and lobbying channels on climate work will also be discussed.
