Vesikko is a high-level recreation center for the entire family. It is located just outside the center of town, in the Mehtimäki Sports Complex.
Vesikko functions as a swimming pool for competition swimmers as well as a pool for people wishing to keep fit. Adjacent to Vesikko you can find ski and jogging trails, the Joensuu Areena and the central sports field.
