JOINING GSFOREST

GSForest has two types of PhD student positions:

A. Positions with salary financed by the Ministry of Education.
These positions are granted maximum for 4 years and they can be applied when separatelly announced.

B. Matching fund position.
These positions are for full-time PhD students who have other financing for their PhD work (grant; salary from supervisor's project etc.). GSForest supports matching fund PhD students with travelling grants and by covering the travelling and accommodation expenses of the PhD students participating in GSForest courses. Also these positions are valid maximum for 4 years; after that time you do not get financial support from GSForest.
