Submission Guidelines

Abstracts

Submission deadline for abstracts is January 31, 2003.
The length of the abstracts should be half or one A4.
Authors will be notified
if they are invited to submit a proposal for final paper by February 10, 2003.

Final Presentation

The submissions must be original and previously unpublished. You can also send a proposal for final presentation although you have not send an abstract. Submission deadline is March 31, 2003.

  • The length of research paper is six to ten pages (30 minutes)
  • The length of projects & policies is four to six pages (20 minutes)
  • The length of poster or demonstration is two to four pages

Author(s) will be informed about the acceptance of their presentations at latest April 30, 2003. All submissions are peer-reviewed by two reviewers, who are members of the conference's International Programme Committee.

Authors are requested to inform in which type of presentation category the proposal is intended to. Program Committee may place the presentation to another category, anyhow.

Language of papers and abstracts is english. Papers have to be submitted to organizers in electronic form (MS Word -document; in rtf -format) to kirsi.karjalainen@joensuu.fi or by mail to address:

The proceedings of the conference will be published as a publication of University of Joensuu. All submissions will undergo a thorough reviewing and refereeing process in order to decide on acceptance. Papers have to be ready for the Proceedings at latest July 7, 2003.
