There are usually 2 daily bus connections from Helsinki to
Joensuu and back. In particular, if someone arrives Helsinki
airport late in the evening of June 12, and wants to avoid
staying overnight in Helsinki, there is an overnight bus route
from the airport to Joensuu, leaving Monday night from platform
1c at 00:15 a.m., and arriving Joensuu bus terminal at 8:40
in the morning. The bus ticket cost is approximately 45 euros.
Please note that there is a transfer to another bus at 00:35
a.m. at Östersundom kappeli.

you have first crossed the Baltic sea by a car ferry.
